Atal Bihari Vajpayee, one of the most successful and loved Prime Ministers that India ever had, passed away today at the age of 93. He was admitted to AIIMS Delhi since nine weeks.
Mr. Vajpayee was suffering from urinal tract infection and chest congestion. His death came as a surprise to the entire nation. India is mourning this legend and praying that he rests in peace. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that India will never see a leader with such an aura again. The poet politician, as he was fondly called, has people going their hearts out remembering those poems which were many a times adapted by filmmakers in their films while a few touched a chord with many.
From his politician friends to his colleagues to an aam aadmi of the nation to media houses, all took to social media to pay their tributes to the tallest man of modern India.

If the great Munshi Premchand was alive, he may have written a poignant essay on what is going on around Atalji at the moment or Atalji himself may have written a poem! why reduce the 'death' of a towering figure into a soap opera? #Atalji

India has lost its Ratna today. A stalwart who rose above party politics, a gentle statesman, a poet, an inspirational human being, a visionary , a legendary orator. He was loved by all whose lives he touched - a trait that distinguished him. RIP #AtalBihariVajpayee

#AtalBihariVajpayee | An excellent orator and a statesman, Vajpayeeji retreated from public life after NDA’s loss in 2004 Lok Sabha election. He suffered a stroke in 2009 which left him speech impaired
