Facing such a news just a day before the oath must have come as a shock for the BJP-government. While it is still to be seen who takes up the position of Finance Minister, it should be recalled that in January, Piyush Goyal took the position of the Interim Finance Minister while Jaitley was in the US, undergoing treatment.
