Radhika Apte is back again, not on Netflix though. The actor managed to enthrall the audience with her performance in her latest spy-thriller movie. The actress plays the first Indian woman spy working during World War II. A Call to Spy, which is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video follows a group of Special Operations Executive agents who aided in the French Resistance against the Nazi regime during World War II.
Apart from Radhika, the movie stars a bunch of talented actors Sarah Megan Thomas, Stana Katic, Linus Roache and Rossif Sutherland. A story that walks us through the lives of women whose act of bravery and heroism is undisputed. They strike with intelligence and persistence and fighting in a world that was quite considered to be for men. The women go on to risk their own lives for the country and deliver their duty to the best of their ability.
Radhika plays Noor Inayat Khan, daughter of an India-born Sufi mystic and a British mother in, A Call To Spy. Noor was chosen and placed in one of the toughest places during the war for her incredible abilities. The actor impressed the audience and captivated them with her exceptional performance. She shines along with her talented co-actors onscreen. The movie is directed by Lydia Dean Pilcher who is known for her films like Queen of Katwe and The Reluctant Fundamentalist.
