You don't need a special occasion to treat yourself with a perfect cocktail. We have made a list of Amaretto cocktail recipes that you can try at home.
Considering how amazing (read F-all) the year is treating us, we all deserve a good cocktail. Although our club visits included us going out and having our cocktail in peace while the rest of the people kept dancing and sweating, that is not an option either. To make it worst, you can't even have a good house party (except for the app) with your friends. But my fellow drinkers we can't let this lockdown be a party pooper. We can always make some cocktails at home, all you need is a little help and a lot of daru. We have made a list of Amaretto cocktail recipes that you can try at home. These recipes would have been of use if you are having a house party. But guess what, there can be a house party anytime one wants with one's self.

Amaretto Sour Cocktail

INGREDIENTS:
Ice
1 1/2 ounces amaretto liqueur
3 ounces sweet and sour mix
Splash of lemon-lime soda, such as 7 Up or Sprite
Maraschino cherry and an orange slice for garnish
INSTRUCTION:
Fill a cocktail shaker half full with ice. Add the amaretto and sweet and sour mix. Shake to chill.
Pour into a rocks glass half-filled with ice.
Garnish with the cherry and orange slice.
Kahlua Amaretto Cocktail

INGREDIENTS:
1 oz. Kahlua
1 oz. Bailey's Irish Cream
1 oz. amaretto
2 oz. 1/2-&-1/2
Heath toffee bits {optional}
INSTRUCTION:
Chill a martini glasses in the refrigerator for about 20 to 30 minutes.
Fill a cocktail shaker half full with ice.
Add Kahlua, Bailey's, amaretto, and 1/2-&-1/2.
Shake for about 30 seconds.
Strain shaken mixture into prepared glass.
Garnish with a sprinkling of Heath toffee bits, if desired.
The Godfather Cocktail

INGREDIENTS:
1-ounce Scotch whiskey
1-ounce amaretto
Ice
Orange twist, for garnish (optional)
INSTRUCTION:
Add the scotch and amaretto to a pint glass filled with ice. Stir to combine.
Strain the cocktail into a rock or old-fashioned glass filled with ice.
Garnish with an orange twist and serve immediately. Cheers!

Tipsy Iced Coffee

INGREDIENTS:
4 cups strong brewed coffee
1/2 cup amaretto
1/4 cup plus 3 tablespoons sugar, divided
2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
INSTRUCTION:
In a large bowl, whisk coffee, amaretto and 1/4 cup sugar. Cool to room temperature.
Transfer to an 8-in. square dish. Freeze 1 hour. Stir with a fork. Freeze 2-3 hours longer or until completely frozen, stirring every 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, beat cream until it begins to thicken. Add remaining sugar; beat until stiff peaks form. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
To serve, stir mixture with a fork; spoon into glasses. Top with whipped cream. Serve immediately.
Amaretto Cranberry Kiss

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups cranberry juice cocktail
1 cup vodka
1/2 cup amaretto
3 tablespoons fresh orange juice
Ice cubes
Clementines, peeled, separated into segments
INSTRUCTION:
Mix cranberry juice, vodka, amaretto, and orange juice in a pitcher. Cover and chill until ready to serve. DO AHEAD: Can be prepared 1 day ahead. Keep refrigerated.
To make 2 drinks, fill the cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Pour in scant 1 cup vodka mixture. Cover and shake vigorously. Strain into 2 Martini glasses. Garnish each with the clementine segment. Repeat 3 times with ice cubes, remaining vodka mixture, and clementine segments.
