A R Rahman jammed with several artists and it will lift your spirits

A R Rahman brings a medley of his iconic songs for an epic rooftop jam. This jam is for hope and to remind you to hold onto the good things.

A R Rahman aka the 'Mozart of Madras' has come up with a new video to spread "hope and remind people that beauty is still out there in the world". The music maestro came together with the musical cast of the film, 99 Songs to host this epic rooftop jam. All together they sang some of his iconic tracks including, Rang De Basanti, Balleilakka, Veere Kadh De, and O Aashiqa.

The medley was posted on major social media platforms with the message -"As the sun rises in Chennai, A.R. Rahman signals a new dawn with the musical cast of 99 Songs. From India to the world, witness the music maestro weaving magic with his timeless compositions — both old and new. From the Punjabi hip-hop track "Veere Kadh De" and the vibrant celebratory song "Rang De Basanti" to the cultural anthem "Balleilakka" and the heartfelt ballad "O Aashiqa," Rahman sets the rooftop stage for a medley like never before. Watch the global music legend invoke the power of music as he's joined by 99 Songs' lead actor Ehan Bhat, director Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy and the musical cast of the film for a special sunrise set."

In this video, the Medley is performed by A.R. Rahman. It also features Benny Dayal, Shashwat Singh, Shashaa Tirupati, Rakshita Suresh, Swagat Rathod, Sarthak Kalyani, and Nirmika Singh. On Keyboards: Nakul Abhyankar, Lavita Lobo. On Guitars: Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy, On Drums: Kumaran Sivamani, and On Dhol: Yash Pathak. The Engineers were Suresh Permal & Karthik Sekaran.
