Madhya Pradesh government on the brink of collapse after 22 MP Cabinet Ministers submit their resignation as Jyotiraditya Scindia announced his exit from Congress.
On Tuesday, sources confirmed that 22 MP Cabinet Ministers of Madhya Pradesh resigned and CM Kamal Nath accepted the resignation. This resignation is said to have occurred after Jyotiraditya Scindia announced his exit from Congress. It is said that he is most likely to join BJP. All the ministers who resigned after this announcement belong to Jyotiraditya's camp.

However, CM of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath had earlier called for an emergency meeting in his Bhopal residence. After the meeting, the CM had said that there was nothing to worry about and that his government will complete its term. Jyotiraditya and the ministers flew to Bengaluru on Monday when Nath visited Congress President Sonia Gandhi to discuss the list of nominees for Rajya Sabha and the political situation. He left the visit halfway and returned to Bhopal that night and held a meeting and then called for a cabinet meeting at 10 PM. BJP meanwhile called for a meeting on Tuesday.
