For someone who loves to watch anime, there is a lot to be excited about in 2023. With some amazing shows making their comeback, the year is going to be exciting for anime fans around the world. 2022 has been great but this year is going to be better with some big releases. The conclusion arc of Attack on Titan, second season of Jujutsu Kaisen, Vinland Saga, Demon Slayer are some of the shows that have got us all hyped up. Apart from the new seasons of ongoing shows, we would also get to see some new releases. Solo Leveling is getting its anime adaptation and it will be released this year. Considering how engaging these manga stories are, it surely deserves the hype it's getting in our regular weeb conversations. Let's dive deeper and look into anime shows of 2023. We're half way through this year and it has been great so far but there's so much to look forward to.

Attack on Titan: The Final Season - Part 3 (Released on March 4)
Attack on Titan comeback never fails to break the internet. We all remember how we all freaked out when the anime left us all on a cliffhanger. We all have been waiting to know the fate of Eldians and how this war will come to an end. The third part of the final season was released on 4th March in Japan. Kimetsu No Yaiba, Season -3 (Released on April 9)
While the manga has come to an end, the anime is still going and shows no sign of reaching the finale anytime soon. Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, shattered the box office records around the world. The entertainment district arc introduced us to new characters and surely has got us all excited for the next adventure that comes. You can stream the third season of the show on Crunchyroll from April 2023.
Jujutsu Kaisen, Season - 2 (Releasing on July 6)
Following the story of Yuji Itadori who becomes cursed by a demon, the story of Jujutsu Kaisen brings a gangbusters kind of story. It has managed to get a big fanbase around the world for its storyline, animation and cool characters. It is returning with its second season which is to be premiered in July 2023 and will most likely be aired on Crunchyroll.
Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre (Released on January 19)
A good news for all anime lovers who like horror stories written by Junji Ito. Fans will see 20 stories written by Junji Ito getting an anime adaptation. He has always stood unique with his craft of writing horror stories and he has personally selected these stories. This series started airing on Netflix on the 19th of January.
Vinland Saga, Season 2 (Release on January 10)
You can say that you know everything about Vikings and can call Vikings: Valhalla has the best Viking show ever written but nothing can match the brilliant storyline of Vinland Saga. The brand new season started airing in January 2023 and is available to stream on Crunchyroll.
One Punch Man, Season - 3 (Release date is not confirmed yet)
It took almost 3 years for us to get another season of One Punch Man. Though the release date is yet to be announced, the appearance of Saitama and Garou in the teaser was enough to hype up the fans.
Solo Leveling (Release date is not confirmed yet)
There is no way that you have read the Solo Leveling manga and have not wished for an anime adaptation. The hype around the manga release was crazy and the anime is now getting its anime adaptation. The exact release date is yet to be announced but this is set to happen in 2023.
Classroom of the Elite, Season - 3 (Release date is not confirmed yet)
A brand new season of Classroom of the Elite is set to be released in 2023. Not much has been revealed about the plot but looking back at the previous seasons, we all can hope for something exciting.
Tokyo Revengers, Season - 2 (Released on January 8)
A brand new season of Japanese Yanki-themed sci-fi series, Tokyo Revengers started airing in January 2023. The story continues after the Christmas Showdown Arc. You can watch the released episodes on Crunchyroll.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, Season 2 (Release date is not confirmed yet)
The second season of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is expected to be released in 2023. Based on a light novel series written by Rifujin na Magonote and Shirotaka, the show follows the story of Rudueus Greyrat, who is reincarnated as a 34 year old unemployed man in an isekai world. His adventures will continue in the second season.
